About Us
|
Thirty physicians in Missouri
are actively enrolled in the Ideal Missouri Practice
project .
You don’t need extra staff or IT expertise. The tools are web-based
and are not dependent on an EMR. We provide
the faculty, the curriculum, and the resources.
|
|
The program is based on extensive testing and work
by faculty at Dartmouth Medical School and is the
core component in the Ideal Micro Practices project
(another IMP!) that was launched in January 2006
with support from the Physician’s Foundation for
Health System Excellence. More than 100 practices
nationwide have achieved significantly better
results on quality measures such as access,
continuity, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
|
We’re working with the
St.
Louis Area Business Health Coalition to engage physicians who are interested in
working on improvement in these aspects of office quality: Safety,
Timeliness, Patient-centeredness, Efficiency, Equity, Effectiveness, and
Vitality.

|
|
You’ll receive coaching, easy-to-use tools and
methods, and free, easy-to-implement technologies
for your practice and patients. You will participate
in conference calls with other practices so that you
can make the most out of free tools, technologies
and methods.
|
|
On
completion your practice will receive certification
as an Ideal Missouri Practice. All the work is done
by conference call, list serve, and sequenced
innovation in practice. We can accept only 25
more practices into the program so register now.
Also, plan to participate in a brief informational
phone call. We will e-mail the details of the
call.
|
|
We invite you to participate and ask
that you complete an application
to get our conversations started. After we receive your registration, we
will contact you with more information.
